my inspiration

I remember my sophomore year in high school, I was sitting in my photography class desperately waiting for the end of the day (school amiright?) and my teacher proceeds to tell me "Lauren, if you really put your mind to it you could go far with this." It took me awhile to believe her, 15 years to be exact, but here I am, finally giving it my all. 

I've loved photos for as long as I can remember, just look at my camera roll *nervous laughter*. The thought that a memory could be frozen in time for years to come just fascinates me. So here I am channeling my love of this job into love for other people and their beloved memories. After all, what sounds better than sitting around the table in 20 years living through our old photographs?
